Low calorie food/meal ideas

I need help thinking up some new low calorie foods and meals Neutral
Does anyone have any unusual or different ideas?

I usually eat a few of the following:
- gherkins
- low cal rice crackers
- 'lite' cottage cheese
- fat free yogurt
- carrot sticks with a little hummus
- lettuce
- celery
- salsa
- tonnes of herbal tea

Other Thoughts..

Mushrooms!
I love them coz they cook in water, so I cook them with spinach.
And they're about 30 cal a cup Smile
Also Vegie Soup.. Or Miso (30 cals).
Um sugar-free jelly is about 7 calories a serving if you want sweet food?
I love buying big boxes of frozen berries and snacking on those, they're very low calorie.
And lastly - certain cereals that you usually get from health food stores. I don't recommend them for breakfast coz they're not truly very filling but they make a good snack. Usually about 50 cals a cup is the puffed corn / spelt / wheat / rice.

i usually don't snack at all - wait for next meal instead. i wonder if any of you girls do that too? i like being hungry for the next meal.

it helps if i don't KNOW what's in the food cabinets ;D

I love stewed apples! In Australia you can get average ones cheaply at woolworths and then you just peel them, core them and cut them up, chuck them in a big pot with some water and cook them til they're soft and mushy! Add some cinnamon and they taste so so delicious Smile no need for sugar and a great low-cal snack or dessert. A bit like babyfood i guess, but cheap haha

Fruits!

Hi, my name is Kira, I'm from Poland. Lorraine, I also don't snack at all. I prefer rather celebrate my 3 essential meals than eat something in a hurry. But I'm not hungry between meals, maybe because I drink lots of green tea.
Anyway I love low calorie fresh fruits like pears or raspberry with cinnamon. I cut them on little pieces, put in a bowl (then looks like there's more of them), and add some cinnamon or cacao. It makes my dinner.

veggie soup
tea/coffee (no sugar added)
fruit
pumpkin/sunflower seeds (only if i feel like i may faint)
